Video No. 4
National Lawyers Association Foundation Announces
Completion
of 4th Video/DVD for Declaration Project:
The First Amendment:
Freedom Of Religion... or Freedom From Religion?
As debate
rages on all sides of the issue pitting the 1st Amendment
against the 10 Commandments and the Pledge of Allegiance,
this video, available in VHS and DVD formats, provides
the answer to this hot topic by referencing the foundational
documents that created this great nation and the positions
of the Founding Fathers.
This
18 minute video, produced for senior high school, college
and law students, features Douglas Kmiec, noted speaker
and highly acclaimed constitutional law scholar, who currently
holds the position of Chair & Professor of Constitutional
Law at Pepperdine University. Professor Douglas Kmiec
speaks in depth on the current crisis over the role of
religion in America today and provides the solution in
the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution.
Also included with the video at no extra charge is a second
45 minute seminar given by Professor Kmiec on the 1st Amendment
for teachers who wish to provide a more comprehensive,
in-depth presentation for their students.
