The new section on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) is seeking members. Affiliates interested in furthering the use of mediation, arbitration, or other alternatives to litigation can join by contacting NLA offices or writing the section chair, J.W. (Zig) Zeigler, Jr., 2500 First National Bank Building, Mobile, Alabama 36602.
Members may chose to serve on any of these ADR subsections:
- Mission Statement Development
- Attorney-Initiated ADR
- Public and Business-Initiated ADR
- NLA Panel of Neutrals
We will post an initial panel of mediators and arbitrators on our NLA website, divided by states. All panel members will be NLA lawyers who offer their services as neutrals. When you need services of a dispute resolution neutral in your practice, you are encouraged to contact an NLA Panel of Neutrals member.
NLA members wishing to be listed in our Panel of Neutrals should send an ADR oriented resume to the section chair.
Other NLA sections that concern subject matters are requested to designate a coordinator with ADR.
